 Aub
Schofield was Arthur's father and Grace his mother.
Aub was a tailor who moved from Sydney to Mungundi
in 1914 where he met and worked with Frank Vetter.
They were to become lifelong friends and business
partners. They moved to Goondiwindi and established
the tailoring partnership of Schofield and Vetter
in 1920. This business served the town and district
for the next 42 years.
Grace Schofield was a well-educated woman and
her skills in business management and accounting
played a big part in the business of Schofield
and Vetter and Arthur Schofield and Co.
